Just so you know, the photo above is what summer looks like from my sunroom. Say hello to Gracie-the-cat snoozing in the sun.
But it's definately fall in Cleveland. The rain and wind blew through last week, and the trees are finally losing their leaves. Here's what fall looks like from my dining room:

I've spent this weekend in an O'Hare airport hotel attending my Voice and Speech Trainers Conference Board meeting. We meet in airport hotels because they we can get free shuttles from the airport and free wireless and save some money that way. We typically have dinner on Friday night with a business meeting afterwards, work 9-6 on Saturday, and 9-noon on Sunday. It makes for long days, but the VASTA folks are so creative, funny, and generous that it's working fun.
Last night several of us were too tired to take the train and bus to a Chicago brew pub with the more adventurous members, so we ate dinner at nearby family restaurant "Tiffany's" and took a dip in the hotel hot tub. Then I proceeded to return to my room and watch two hours of Jonathan Edwards as he "talked to the dead" on WE televsion. Gotta love hotel cable.
Today is the flight back to Cleveland and the beginning of the few long weeks that end the semester and begin finals. I imagine the next time I blog, there'll be lovely show photos.
